Mustering Cattle in the Kimberleys
To record the
"dying art of the Outback cattle muster" was the object of Alby's
5000km drive from Coffs Harbour (East coast of Australia) to the far
north west of Oz. It would take the station owner, thirty Aboriginal
stockmen, some pack mules, a hundred horses, Alby and Sam, six weeks to
return with 30,000 head of cattle!
This was obviously a
time cherished by Alby, because the World Safari book is chock full of
double-page spreads just like this one.
We're gonna go back... Back to the Future!
